Washington Education and Squash Academy (WESA)
I volunteered all years during high school as a squash coach and tutor for WESA, a non-profit that aims to combat inequality in education and narrow the achievement gap. I am fortunate to be able to combine my passion for helping the community with my passion for squash playing!
During the pandemic, this also includes leading Zoom remote fitness training for the kids in our WESA program. I am also captaining a fund-raising team for WESA.

Hopelink Food Bank
I am activity in the local food bank Hopelink, and worked in various locations throughout Seattle area including Shoreline, Bellevue, Redmond and Sno-Valley. I enjoyed all the tasks, whether it was stocking the shelves, moving heavy boxes, or serving food bank clients at the check-out line, knowing that every bit of my effort helps someone in need.
Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra
Ever since I was nine, I have been part of the SYSO community. I have been an active member of the larger youth music community in the Northwest. In addition to SYSO, I participated in the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival and Performance Arts Festival of the Eastside every year. I grew up with my music friends.

On this 5-day backpacking trip that started with a 5000-foot descent to the bottom of the Grand Canyon before climbing out on top again, I challenged my personal limits!
